I just downloaded clonefish(free) to take it for a test spin. 1. I was disappointed that I had to use the website to create a form. I am really disappointed that I can't go back and make changes to that form. Is the form builder(not the on-line thing) included in the paid version? The download/buy page specifies that the form builder is available on all versions. Using the on-line form builder has an immediate razzle dazzle to it, but it is by no means a good permanent way to build forms with this product.

Hi,
The online form builder is a great way to try how Clonefish works in practice, and also a nice tool to kickstart development with Clonefish. We've found that most developers are only interested in the form builder for a short period until they become familiar with the element type names and configuration details. Naturally it becomes more and more easier to create the configuration manually after a few days of use (even better with some IDE support).
On the other hand due to the complexity of this tool we didn't take the challenge to make it a full featured offsite application: not only the app installation is a little complex but apart from the basic elements most of the dynamic (SQL or filesystem based, API based) elements still need manual finetuning from the developer all the time.
That's why we've decided to focus on the core product itself, which is the form generator class - and that's why the online form builder is provided for free, not for more $$$ as an additional product.
